This is a unilateral leg workout that focuses on strengthening and toning your legs, inner thighs and glutes. This can be done as a body weight workout like in the video or as a strength workout using a pair of dumbbells. Unilateral workouts are great for strengthening and conditioning your body through the various planes of motions for stability and balance. We will go through several different Lunge variations for 3 rounds total.
Check out the video for detailed instruction and a demonstration of how to perform each exercise properly and efficiently. For a more intense workout, you can hold a pair of dumbbells while you perform each movement for extra resistance training.
