Front squats are an excellent compound lift (recruits more muscle groups than isolated movements) to target your quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and upper back. The main thing with performing front squats is to make sure you are performing them correctly to get the most out of the movement because the load is on the front of the body instead of the back of the body (as it is with back squats) you will have to use more of your back and abs in order to keep your chest upright so that the weight does not pull your forward.
