10 Minute No Equipment AB Workout

Hey guys! Welcome to this core and AB workout.

By popular demand, this one won't take you longer than 10 minutes. The whole idea is to keep your rest time at a minimum. You don't need any equipment, as you will rely on your own body weight.

 

This workout consists of three rounds and a rep scheme of 30-20-10-5 for each round. You will do: (Check the video for visual guides)

  • 30 bicycle crunches: The biggest mistake people make with bicycle crunches is speeding through this movement. Keep it slow and controlled. And count the steps when you reach either your left or right knee. So one rep consists of left and right, not just one side. Remember to keep shoulder blades off the ground and your elbows out, nice, and wide!
  • 20 sit-ups: If you have a hard time with these, you can just do crunches.
  • 10 V-Ups: If they are too difficult, bring your feet down on each repetition. 
  • 5 leg ups: Make sure you are not swinging way overhead, but keeping a small range of motion. When pushing up, keep your toes right in line with your eyes.
