I get a lot of messages from people struggling to get their daily protein intake in or who don’t have time to cook full meals to hit their macronutrient goals (nutrition goals) feeling frustrated with what to eat so I wanted to share this quick video showing you my post workout protein meal that literally took me less than 10 minutes to make, is only 3 ingredients for the recipe, has over 25g protein and has so much good chocolate chip flavor in it! Ingredients you need are:
1 Whole Egg
2/3 cups of Unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk
1 Full Scoop of Chocolate Chip ABS Protein Pancakes
Optional- 1 Tbsp of Lilys Stevia Sweetened Chocolate Chips and Sugar Free Syrup. Simply mix the 3 ingredients together until batter is completely smooth (if it’s too thick just add a little more milk until you reach a pancake batter consistency). Spray a griddle or skillet with non-stick spray and pre-heat to somewhere between 250-275 degrees or medium heat. Pour batter into 4 pancakes and let cook until the edges of the pancakes start to rise and bubble then flip and cook all the way through (about 3-5 minutes on each side). When pancakes are golden brown simply plate them and add your favorite toppings! This is such a go to meal for me when I am busy or when I just want something sweet and delicious without ruining my nutrition. This is also a super easy way to up your daily protein intake since the ABS Protein Pancakes mix alone has 26g Protein (with the whole egg it comes to about 32g Protein).
Eating healthy and eating protein packed meals doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor or eat a boring diet! Enjoy!
