Dumbbell AB Circuit

Hey there! Welcome to this dumbbell circuit workout.

To perform this workout you will need one dumbbell. Don’t make it too heavy! If you are a beginner use 3 to 5 pounds. You can step it up to 10, 15, or even 20 if you are a bit more advanced.

This workout consists of five rounds and a rep scheme of 10-10-10-10 repetitions of three different movements. No rest! You will do: (Check the video for visual guides)

  • 20 alternating dumbbell toe touches: The leg and shoulder you are working with need to be totally off the ground. Start laying down with the weight on one hand, and then touch your opposite leg with it. Make sure you are crunching and crossing. Do 10 repetitions with one side and then change to the other. So actually, you will do 20 of these.
  • 10 weighted variations of a V-up: Just like with the dumbbell toe touches, keep your shoulder blades and feet off the ground.
  • 10 russian twists: This is not done just twisting, but making sure that you create a little bit of tension on your stomach, and then twist all the way on each side. If it feels too easy, you can raise your legs.

Were you able to complete the five rounds without a rest? Comment below if you did!
